Nijhum Dwip means island of tranquility. The eye-caching and very quiet environment of this island really justifies its name. The amazing view will make you feel very refreshed from monotonous and tensed life. If you didn’t visit there yet, you have surely missed something in life. It is an offshore island in the Bay of Bengal situated in the very south of Hatia Island. Nijhum dwip including Hatiya was merged under water for long time. But the surface of the island started to appear out of water in 1972 and our forest department started plantation there. The mangrove forest, about 5,000 cheetal or spotted deer on open land, snakes, about 35 species of birds, and abundant Keora trees are the major attractions of this island. Nijhum Dwip currently has six bazars which are only places to have electricity from generators. In 2001, Bangladesh government declared Nijhum Dwip forests as a National Park. Nijhum Dwip is really a mysterious island. This Island could be the next prime tourist spot after St Martins Island. A huge numbers of migrated birds come in this island in winter season, enhancing the beauty of this island. Those who like excitement, thrills and zing they can fulfill there wish by traveling in Nijhum Dwip. The uniqueness of this very island is the beauty of Sundarban and Cox’s Bazar will found here in a same place. The big waves and the silent mangrove forest always attract the travelers.   Although the sea remains calm during the winter but you can go there at any time of the year. The sea tends to be turbulent slowly from April. At that time the height of the waves increases too. If you want to travel that time you can earn thrilling experiences.

Itinerary :

Night 1 : Our guide will take you Overnight Ferry to Hatiya from Dhaka . We will Book a Cabin for you (private/share basis)  . Overnight on ferry .

Day 1 : 

After arrival in Hatiya you will check in guest house in Hatiya . Guest house just simple only basic . remember no electricity in Nijhoom dwip they serve electricity by solar power .so you have to be simple there . Nijhoom dwip it is located in the remote area of Bangladesh . transport system will be boat,motorbike,tooktook . This day you will visit some island , kobiraj chor ( island ) , Choudhury khal , komlar dwip , Nama Bazar Sea beach , Domar chor ( island ) . Overnight stay guest house in Nijhoom dwip . ( B/L/D) . 

Day 2 :

Day long Boat Trip to Nijhoom dwip mangroves forest and Chor Kukri Mukri . overnight stay guest house in Nijhoom dwip .

Day 3 :

After breakfast at 8 am some village activities and then early lunch at 2 pm ferry to Dhaka . Next day early morning at 6 am arrive in Dhaka .
